HENRE at the European Congress of Radiology (ECR 2009)
The European Congress of Radiology (ECR 2009) held in Vienna in March was the venue for a large number of invited and proffered papers presented by partner members of the Higher Education Network for Radiography in Europe (HENRE).
It was apparent at ECR 2009 that the influence of HENRE in the European educational sphere has been widespread.
In the session Professional Issues and Education all four of the invited presentations were from HENRE partner members:

‘Progress in the Nordic Master Programme’

‘Development of competence based radiography curriculum’
Tiina Kukkes, Tartu School of Health Care, Estonia
In the session entitled Education and Quality Control, 5 out of the 10 proffered papers were presented by HENRE partner universities with 3 directly related to the work of HENRE.
