EU application proposal for HENRE
2
The final application proposal has been handed
to the Commission. We will be notified after the summer
break if we have been successful or not. Thanks to all
those of you who have forwarded the ŌNew EU proposal
application formÕ with your departmental profile and
contact information for increased membership. It is not
too late to have this form back now as this information
provides a good data bank of memberÕs expertise.
The proposed themes for the HENRE 2:
1. Tuning of the generic and subject specific
competencies: updating of competences
2. Life long learning and the development of masters programmes
3. Developing synergy between teaching and research : links with other
EU networks and others
4. Linking science and society: radiological protection and the protection
of patients and patient information.
These will build on and go beyond the activities
already undertaken by the HENRE.
A copy of the application proposal is available from Melanie.
